Nov. 18 - I am a physician, and I suppose I do have what some might
consider a glamorous lifestyle; a single plastic surgeon, living on the beach
in Malibu, surfing, chasing beautiful women, and looking for love, even if it
always seems to be in all the wrong places. When EgoTV approached me to do a
reality web series based on my life, I was initially skeptical to open my
personal life to scrutiny, but the synchronicity of this offer was too much to
ignore. You see, after some careful soul searching, I am ready to admit that
most of the important life decisions I have made, including career, jobs, and
relationships, have been influenced and driven by my own ego. I truly believe we are all more similar than
I had ever imagined, and by participating in this show, I hope to reveal that
whatever the personal circumstances may be, it is really not what you do, or
what you look like that is important, rather it is how you navigate the sea,
and that you enjoy the voyage.
I have received many negative comments in response to
episode number 1. The medical community, patients, friends, and family, have
all had some opinion regarding my decisions and motivations, and many have
passed negative judgments upon me.
Although I respect these opinions, frankly, I do not care
what they think about me.
My main motivation is to expose my own struggles and inner
conflicts. I am on a journey of self realization, and hope that you join me,
and if at some point, you can hold up a mirror, and see a bit of your self in
it, then great. I hope that you enjoy the ride!!
