Things on the Internet That are Pissing me Off This Week

Ryan Gosling Coloring Book
I really don’t have anything to say about this.
The Daily Mail’s Sandy Hook Shooting Coverage
Calling the shooter “a goth,” posting pictures of the kids who died, posting pictures of sad looking kids outside the school, posting pictures of grieving parents, posting sensationalist articles about the mother’s interest in being a survivalist, using half the front page to post scattered speculations about the shooter’s mental state.
People posting about their “cake day” on Reddit
God. Shut up. Honestly, is that what you spend time thinking about? The anniversary of when you signed up to some stupid website? That’s even a little bit important to you, or a source of excitement?
Obama’s stupid store-bought dog in all their holiday photos
He’s doing an exemplary job setting an absolutely shitty example in a country where millions of adoptable pets are slaughtered each year, largely thanks to people like him who choose breeders over shelters. Way to go, dickhead.
The lunch lady who got fired for feeding a poor kid hot meals he couldn’t afford, because she was “stealing.”
Additionally, the response of the school when she got rehired after media coverage and intense backlash: “It was an unfortunate misunderstanding.” To whoever released that statement: No, it wasn’t. The school is only sorry because it got caught dealing that cruel, self-serving, money-pinching slap to that kindhearted woman. Without the news and public outcry, she would be without a job right now and that literally poor child would be back to eating d-grade cheese sandwiches five days a week for the rest of the school year.
Unfortunately, that blatant lie of a statement will just be accepted as truth and forgotten because everyone is so used to using semantics and deception to “rectify” wrongdoings that that is the closest that woman will ever get to an honest and genuine apology.
