We’ve had bad luck with our favorite Halloween candy. In the 1970s, we loved candy razor blades, which were soon canceled when some of them started to be real. It took a while to find another candy that met our fickle standards, but in 1990 we finally fell in love with “Pepsi with a chocolate syringe inside.” But soon, that was pulled after a scare that there were real syringes, which gave us no end of disappointment and weight loss. So this Halloween, as you are handing out fistfuls of raisins and Activia, take a minute to make sure none of these slipped into your candy bowl:
