On Hollywood Boulevard, people dressing up as children’s characters and asking for money is a weird industry. In fact, it’s so annoying that the practice was banned. Still, it’s easy money, so many people still illegally dress as children’s characters and beg. Regularly, police will roll through the Boulevard and bust these panhandlers, which makes for excellent photo opportunities. We took a bunch of those photos, and added a few photos of kid’s mascots getting arrested elsewhere, to make 20 pictures of people dressed as children’s characters getting arrested:
