Seriously, Kathy Lee has one job: Sit at the bar and don’t piss people off. But she can’t even do that right. Here, Gifford takes a break from pounding glasses of wine to ask Martin Short about the brilliant relationship he has with his wife. Problem is, he lost his wife to cancer in 2010. Who would’ve thought that being a sauced-up loudmouth on the Today Show does not automatically make one a competent journalist. Notice how class act Martin Short answers the question smoothly, as if he hadn’t just been rudely accosted:
