Halloween is supposed to be the scariest time of the year, but Halloween costumes nowadays aren’t even remotely scary. Kids’ costumes are brightly colored and made of shiny, non-threatening plastic. Men just dress up as superheroes or funny internet jokes, and women just dress like sluts. But Halloween wasn’t always this way. There was a time not too long ago when Halloween costumes were homemade and Halloween masks were crappy and poorly-produced. the photo of the children sitting on the plaid couch (planet of the apes, casper, devil, clown, princess etc) was taken in my house in Mt Carmel, PA, in fact, I think I took that photo when I was about 12 years old, and two of the children are my step sisters… where did you get that photo???? please respond.
