The Occupy Wall Street Protests have been ongoing for nearly three weeks now, and it’s showing no signs of letting up any time soon. In fact, the movement is spreading to other cities across the nation at an alarming pace. While the central message of the protests is still clouded in a haze of frustration and disorganization, many have taken to making protest signs to voice their concerns. I understand the protest, what I don’t understand is why people are protesting for so many different reasons (i.e. the signs). I’ve seen some clever signs, but I’ve also sign many signs that were just wrong…
WRONG – These signs are why we are in a thriving pre – revolutionary democracy. Get with it.
These signs are why no one takes them seriously. It is not a real protest.
