Hurricane Irene Aftermath Photos

Hurricane Irene pissed all over the East Coast this weekend, but luckily it wasn’t nearly as devastating as many predicted. Irene caused extensive damage to some parts of the Eastern United States, though, and the subsequent flooding in Vermont is the worst the state has seen in more than a century. Parts of New York City are still flooded, and some houses and buildings along the entire coastline were damaged. Hurricane Irene was also responsible for a few dozen deaths, but I think we can all agree that it could’ve been much, much worse. We’re not out of the woods yet, but it looks like it’s only going to get better from here. Take a look at some of the damage that Irene caused this weekend.
