Our Five Favorite Celebrity Sex Addicts
Ever since the Tiger Woods story broke out, sexual addiction has been gaining an incredible amount of steam in the medical and psychological world. Fact is, sexual addiction has been prevalent for a very long time in our society. It’s only now that it’s being taken seriously.
And just like alcoholism was first taboo, look at how big it is today. Nothing brings to light a subject more powerfully than when a celebrity confesses to having the disorder.
Speaking of which, here are five of our favorite celebrity sex addicts……
Clearly Tiger belongs at the top of this list. And I’m gonna make the call right now. Sexual addiction is going to be the next “Alcoholism.” Just you wait. After Tiger’s mistresses stepped into the limelight and onto the tabloids, Woods checked himself into sex rehab at Pine Grove Behavorial Health and Addiction Services. Oh and during that process? About 800 other women stepped up to the plate to “confess” about their sexual relations with the Tiger.
Earning a spot on Maxim’s “Living Sex Legends” list, Charlie Sheen is reported to have slept with over 5000 women. That means sleeping with a new girl every single day for nearly 14 years. Honestly I couldn’t imagine something like that. All I know is that you have to figure plenty of unattractive women were in that bunch. Is that the only quip or comeback I have here? I guess the point is that I’m extremely jealous.
Of all these guys Tom Sizemore actually has a medical stigma attached. Sizemore’s sex addiction actually comes with a medical term, “priapsm”. Doctors say that this is caused by years of alcohol and drug abuse. The result? “Tom can have sex nine times without stopping. He’s in the midst of a massive depression, but he’s making tremendous progress,” his manager has said. I would say being have to a have sex nine times without interruption is progress don’t you?
Mr. Duchovny is by far the most ironic sex addict out there. David Duchovney checked into rehab for sex addiction in 2008. Ironically, he also won a Golden Globe that year for playing an over-sexed writer on Showtime’s Californication. Something tells me his role on that show doesn’t exactly help his cause. Am I wrong here?
Former ESPN baseball analyst admitted to sex addiction in a TV interview after news broke that he was having an affair with a 22-year old production assistant. I like Steve. He’s a pretty boy and he’s a funny dude. It’s a shame we won’t be seeing him on TV any time soon.
