Dubai metro is the longest “driverless,” fully automated metro network in the world. There are two lines: green and red. The Red Line is already partly operational. It’s system length is 32.4 mi (52.1 km). The first section of the Red Line, covering 10 stations.

More than 110,000 people, which is nearly 10 percent of Dubai’s population, used the Metro in its first two days of operation. The train’s top speed is 68 mph (110 kmh).  The construction cost of Dubai Metro is $7.8 billion.
