Viral Video of The Day: The LEGO Matrix

Just in time to celebrate the 10th anniversary of 1999 release of The Matrix- Trevor Boyd and Steve Ilett of www.legomatrix.com created this astonishingly accurate animation reenacting one of the film’s most memorable scenes: the rooftop bullet-time dodge. According to their website, the movie took around 440 hours to create. That’s 10 hours per second! It’s also “frame accurate”, which means they took every frame from that scene (nearly 900!) and reproduced them all in Lego.
