Yes, it’s that time of the week… THE STUPID CAR OF THE DAY! Day… Day… day… It’s the award given to the car we think is ugly, waste of materials, and has no point of existence. But today it’s going to be a little different compared to our previous winners. Today’s winner will be one car, BUT from all the years it sucked a$$…
The Ford Mustang
Don’t get me wrong… I love the Mustang. As long as it’s from 1964-1969. They are sexy, magnificent, and if you can afford a Shelby… BADA$$!
So back to the losers of the Mustang family, shall we?
It sucked in the 70’s
Not only Fugly, but slow! And did I mention FUGLY? Who was sitting down and designing these cars and thinking to them self, “Wow, this is a good looking car!”
Of course there are exceptions with the BOSS 302 (which happens to be my favorite Mustang)… but they only made that car till 1970, right before Ford started screwing everything up.
Its sucked in the 80’s
I think I just through up in my mouth… but it’s ok, it has is a 5.0 V8 in it. Boring!
It sucked in the 90’s
What High School girl doesn’t drive this pile of s**t? It looks like a bloated manatee on wheels.
and sucked even more in the 2000’s.
Ford realized, that for the past 30 years, the Mustang was not a prancing horse, but rather a Donkey with one eye and a missing leg. So how do you fix that problem? Go Retro! Build a new car with the similar design and concept of the original. And they screwed that up, as you have seen above.
Times have changed though, and a new baby Donkey with a missing eye and a only three legs has emerged… the 2010 Mustang.
WAIT WHAT?! It is gorgeous, mean, and caters to something I love to do. DRIVE! And although the updated design on the exterior is somewhat subtle, they have completely redesigned the chassis and suspension for ultimate handling and driver experience… that’s why it was sent to Japan for some drifting fun.
