Hottest Celebrity Tattoos: Part 2 (Wild Chicks Edition)

BRITNEY SPEARS

Ah, Britney. Where would we be as a culture without thou? Apparently, Britney has the same knack for tattoo-picking that she does for picking clothes and husbands. Vanishingtattoo explains:”They are the same tattoos picked off a wall by millions of teen-aged girls in malls all over America. Many seem to have been picked on impulse.”  Reeeeeeeeally…. Here’s the list:

1. 1. Some Kaballah symbols on the back of her neck. They are supposed to mean “healing.” Hey we all know Britney has a lot from which to heal in her life.  But some reports say that the symbols are out of order, which would make them meaningless.
2. 2. A fairy on her lower back.
3. A daisy circling the second toe on her right foot.
4. A butterfly leaving a vine on the left foot.
5. A flower with the Chinese symbol for mystery in the middle of her lower stomach.
6. A pair of pink dice inside her left wrist.
7. A small star on her right hand.
8. Red and pink lips on her wrist (recently gotten during a meltdown)
9. A black, white and pink cross on lower hip (also apparently gotten during aforementioned meltdown).

LINDSAY LOHAN

Ah, our second train-wreck on this week’s list. Lindsay also has a tattoo fetish, especially tattoos of quotations on various parts of her body. The Lohan tats include 2 quotes from legendary, but troubled movie star, Marilyn Monroe:

1. The most recent Marilyn quote: “I restore myself when I’m alone” on her right wrist.
2. Another Marilyn quote: “Everyone’s a star and deserves the right to twinkle” on her left wrist and surrounded by blue, yellow, and green stars.
3. “shhh” on her index finger
4. A small star on her wrist
5. A heart on her hand.
6. The word “breath” on her wrist.
7. The phrase “la bella vita” on her lower back.

PINK

Alecia Beth Moore (aka Pink) has so many friggin’ tats that we could only come up with a partial list of her known tattoos. Sure Pink has had some troubles in her past, but her willingness to bare all in her songs makes her one of the more successful Divas on the list. Her tats include:

1. Japanese symbol above left ankle (good luck)
2. Japanese symbol above left foot (happiness).

“I like looking at pretty pictures. I get bored looking in the mirror and seeing the same thing. So I just keep getting more and more.” Well… I suppose that’s a good reason, Amy! Amy also recently added to this list of tattoos with her recent boob-job, which her father declares “fantastic.” Hmmm.

1. She has an ankh with an American eagle looking through it on her back in between her shoulder blades.
2. An anchor on the right side of her belly button that says Hello Sailor.
3. The name Blake and a short pocket over her heart.
4. A pin up girl on her right upper arm that is wearing a red top and black shorts with the name Cynthia beside her.
5. Two red hearts on her right arm right above the pin up.
6. A second pin up on her right arm under the Cynthia pin up with a big fan covering her body.
7. On the inside of her right arm a bird surrounded by flowers and branches with music notes that say never clip my wings.
8. A lighting bolt on the inside of her right wrist.

CHRISTINA AGUILERA

Diva, Grammy-winner, mother. Let’s face it: Christina rocks. She also, apparently, likes to rock the tattoo needles as well as the piercing needle. We’ve listed her piercings at the end of our tattoo list because, well, they’re… interesting.

1. Pop star has “Xtina” prominently tattooed on the back of her neck,
2. What appears to be a small flower on her left wrist,
3. An unusual looking design on the inside of her left forearm,
4. A rumored design on the small of her back,
5. An unknown tattoo just below her bikini line.
6. Aguilera also has numerous piercing to go with her body art, including her left nostril, a labret, her right nipple, and reputedly several genital piercings.
