Farewell, Darrell Hammond

Darrell Hammond, after 14 years with SNL, is retiring. He was the current longest-running cast member. This is too bad, as Hammond may be possibly the most talented (yet least famous) of the current cast. Who will the cast turn to now to play John McCain, Chris Matthews, Dick Cheney, Donald Trump, and of course, the most ripe-for-satire politician of all time (beside George W. Bush), Bill Clinton? And what will the jeopardy sketches be without Sean Connery?
Okay, no need to panic. Word is, Hammond will occasionally drop in for guest appearances in the future. Thank God. I thought I’d never see Sean Connery pronounce “famous titties” or “the penis mightier” on Jeopardy again!
