I would guess that pick up lines would be the worst way to pick up a chick. If a guy can’t think of something original to get a girls’ attention in the first place, then just how are they going to outshine all the rest of the single bachelors? Am I right?

Apparently not. 6 out of 10 women are more likely to “get with” a guy who has thrown them a pick up line. Cheesy or not, this technique has proven to work. But WHY? Are women really getting that desperate these days? Let me reiterate that throwing out some pickup line that you googled the night before does not constitute you clever nor smart.

Though, I don’t make the rules. These are proven results. So if you would like to get laid, according to Just A Guy Thing, throw out one of these lines and let the magic begin.

1. ‘Do you believe in love at first sight, or should I walk by again?’

2. ‘I have had a really bad day and it always makes me feel better to see a pretty girl smile. So, would you smile for me?’

3. ‘Apart from being beautiful, what do you do for a living?’

4. ‘Shall we talk or continue flirting from a distance?’

5. ‘I seem to have lost my number, can I have yours instead?’

6. ‘Hi, I just wanted to give you the satisfaction of turning me down; go ahead say no.’

7. ‘Is it hot in here or is it just you?’

8. ‘Do you mind if I stare at you up close instead of from across the room?’

9. ‘Did it hurt when you fell out of heaven?’

10. ‘There must be something wrong with my eyes, I can’t take them off you.’
